Last Night in Taiwan
Today was my last day in Taiwan sadly... It was a great day enduring the heat and seeing some of the tallest buildings in the world! We also met up with other RGNS students and explored various parts of Taipei, and had a great time shopping and talking about how much we enjoy being able to travel the world together do closely. Taipei is a great city with easy access to every part of the city which allowed us to visit so many amazing places. I would love to return to Taiwan again soon and experience more and more the country. All my thanks go to Nina Su's family for keeping me safe and treating me like a member of their very own family during my stay here; they are one of my famies away from home. Tomorrow I'm leaving early to catch my flight in the morning so I will be back in the states soon!! Goodbye Asian food, culture, and day to day life.... I will greatly miss you so much!! Peace out; David

Finally able to post!
Hello all! I was unaware that I would be unable to blog out of China so I am sorry my blog is so terribly thin. China was amazing in all aspects, scenery, people, and pure societal advances. I spent two days in three cities: hangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. All cities had beautiful areas including mountains and landscape, but also contained vast areas of cities that teemed with some of the busiest citizens on Earth. On a side note, if you email me your name and email address I will send you all the pictures I can as soon as I get back home (my email is dtodd705@gmail.com). Now I am in Taiwan along with many other rgns students who are staying with various other families, and I am loving every minute here! Aside from the omnipresent heat and humidity, Taiwan is a beautiful country with amazing mountain scenes, and a strong sense of a busy nightlife haha. We have gone from night market games to nice Taiwanese beer on a relaxing beach. I will be updating the blog tomorrow if possible so do stay in touch and read on! - David

First Full Day In Seoul!
Today was my first full day running around the busy streets of Seoul, South Korea. I have never been in such a crowded environment in my life while boarding the various subways that seem to be the veins of the city. The buildings are tall and advanced, the historical sites are rich and beautiful, and the food just never stops coming. Every meal is balanced in every aspect, and the sweet rice wine adds to that balance greatly. Walking down the street I seem to be the only American in the entire country except a handful of travelers like myself... In other words the crowds are very hard to pick through for my friend. It has been a great first day, and tomorrow I'm off meet more friends and see more of the city. Stay tuned~

This is the start of my trip to Korea, China, and Taiwan respectively. Leaving today, June 18th, and returning on July 3rd. I will try and update with my experiences and pictures as soon as I have the time( hopefully daily). My first flight connects at the narita airport in Tokyo, Japan, and then finally arrives after a total of about 15 hours in Seoul, South Korea. Everyone check in and make sure I'm still alive across the world. Hello and good bye (你好和再见)- David
Ps- not sure if I will be able to upload pics via my phone(my only device)
